Josh Wilde, Prosail owner since 2018, has personally made his way up the maritime ladder from hostie/deckhand, to skipper, to owner. He knows what works, and what doesn’t. He’s not a silent investor in the background, he’s ON the ground. Fixing the boats, working with the crew, fine-tuning the trips. Josh keeps his finger on the pulse to make sure our standard doesn’t drop, and our trips just keep getting BETTER. When he’s not working? Yep, you guessed it – he’s sailing, free-diving, adventuring. It’s his personal passion for exactly what he’s offering through Prosail, that makes it as incredible as it is.

The crew? Professional, passionate, and genuinely stoked to be out there. They’re knowledgeable, bring the laughs, and make you feel right at home on board.

The food? Fresh, tasty, and made with care – large main meals with snacks in between. Did someone say dessert? No one’s going hungry out here.

Because success should be shared.

We share the support you give Prosail by giving back to the planet. We’re a proud Silver Supporter of The Orangutan Project (sponsoring Felix and Harapi (right) – I mean, would you just look at them?!). Helping fund rescue, rehabilitation and habitat protection for orangutans in the wild. We also support Regenerate Australia‘s (@regenerateaustralia) tree planting programs with regular donations – offsetting 100 tonnes of carbon in our first year (April 25-26) alone.

Why trees and orangutans? Healthy forests soak up carbon and help fight ocean acidification, one of the biggest threats to marine life. Less CO₂ means healthier oceans, stronger reefs, and thriving rainforests too – and orangutans play their part by helping regenerate the very forests that do all that hard work.

It’s our way of giving back – to the reef, the rainforest, the islands, and the planet – balancing our own footprint while helping reduce the impact beyond our business too, all while showing you the best of the Whitsundays along the way.
