Example Itinerary
(Please note this is subject to change based on weather conditions and tides)
Day 1: Meet your crew and fellow adventurers for a 2pm departure from Coral Sea Marina. Set sail towards the Whitsundays, arriving at one of our favourite beach locations for a hang, swim and to watch the sunset while grazing on some delicious snacks. Once back on board you will head to your overnight anchorage location where it’s time to enjoy dinner & dessert, get to know your new mates, have a few drinks, relax under the stars, and let the calm water gently rock you to sleep.
Day 2: Wake up to a yummy breakfast as you cruise to Tongue Bay. Take a scenic bushwalk to Hill Inlet Lookout for breathtaking views of Whitehaven Beach and the swirling sands of the inlet. Once you have perfected your shots, head down to spend a relaxing 3 hours on Whitehaven beach. Lunch is served back on board before you set sail to your two handpicked snorkel destinations. Once you are snorkelled out (if there is such a thing), head to another one of our favourite beach locations for sunset snacks before heading to your overnight anchorage.
Day 3: Soak up the stunning scenery surrounding you while you eat breakfast before heading off for one last snorkel or a guided bushwalk on one of the islands. We then set sail back to Airlie Beach, arriving around 11am. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Enjoy the afternoon in Airlie, head back to your accommodation, freshen up and then join your new friends for an after-party with a reserved table, meal deals, and drink discounts!

FAQ
What to Pack
Please pack in a soft, small bag (no suitcases or bags with wheels). We suggest swimmers, towel(s), sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, hat, spray jacket, sweater (in the cooler months), sandals/jandals/joggers for island walks, toiletries, and any prescribed medicines. No shops are around the islands, so please pick up important items, drinks or snacks before arriving at the marina.
Drinks
Broomstick Whitsundays is a BYO vessel, which means you can bring your own alcohol and other drinks onto the tour (no glass or red wine, please). Filtered drinking water is included throughout your tour, so please bring a bottle to refill as much as you like (and save on bottled water waste). Tea, coffee & hot chocolate are included; however, for safety reasons, we do not provide hot drinks while our vessel is sailing or motoring around the islands.
Inexperienced Swimmers/Snorkellers
Don’t worry; we can supply additional floatation if required. We will do a risk assessment on every guest before entering the water. While in the water, the small tender will be relatively close by. We also have staff on lookout duty. The reefs we visit are normally off the beaches in the Whitsundays, so it is pretty easy to make your way to the beach.
Large Luggage
Large bags and suitcases cannot be taken on board. Storage services are available at most accommodation locations in Airlie Beach.
Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price. Cancellations made outside of 7 days before departure will only incur a $38 per person admin & booking fee. Any date changes can be accepted without a fee up to 7 days prior to departure. Please note that the 7-day cancellation policy will always be calculated from the original departure date.

- Prosail tours are perfect for adventurous singles, couples and groups normally aged between 18-39. We have no age limit, however you must be ‘young at heart’ and understand the adventurous and social nature of our tours. Some under 18’s may be accepted on board by request.

This is an adventure product and clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control.
- Please note that the WET SEASON in the Whitsundays is normally between December-May where we can experience frequent rain and high humidity. If travelling to Airlie Beach by road, please allow extra time to travel during the WET SEASON as we occasionally have road closures due to flooding.
- At certain times of the year, rare but ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owner of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk, you will be provided with a full-length protective ‘Snorkel Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the tour.
