Hammer is the ultimate MAXI experience! For 2 days and 1 night, your crew will ensure you make it to all the hot spots of the Whitsunday Islands in true speed. Your exciting agenda includes: a visit to the famous Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout, an incredible snorkel over some of the best reefs in the world and of course, a great party in the evening after your action-packed day!

When you only have 2 days to see all of the Whitsundays, speed does matter! Hammer will ensure that no time is wasted as you sail at true racing speeds from one incredible destination to the next!
Wasting no time at all, your 2 day/1 night adventure cruise begins at 8am! After departure from Abell Point Marina at Airlie Beach, a typical voyage will cover around 90 nautical miles (160km's).

You will sail across the Whitsunday Passage to Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island. Around the southern side of Hook Island, pass through Hook Passage and speed sail your way to Cataran Bay on Border Island. Time to head to the north eastern side of Whitsunday Island to Whitehaven Beach. Take a guided bush walk up to the ever-talked-about Hill Inlet Lookout. Don't forget to bring your camera as this will be a view you will want to capture forever. Your crew will proceed to find you a nice and protected anchorage site for a night of fun. Wake up the next morning and it's time for more thrilling sailing back to Airlie Beach. You will pass along the western coast of Whitsunday Island, through Hook Passage and follow the eastern coast of Hook Island, passing the Molle Islands.

Itineraries are flexible, and this itinerary is an example only. Trips will differ depending on the prevailing breezes and tides. Itineraries are planned by the Captain considering the safety and well being of guests and crew. If you have a special place that you would like to visit, they do their very best to see what can be done.
Day One

Morning Tea: Tea and Coffee and an assortment of biscuits
Lunch: Meat Platter, Cheese Slices, Fresh Rolls, Tossed salad, Beetroot slices, Tuna, Mixed Beans
Afternoon Tea: Homemade Nachos
Dinner: Aussie BBQ Chicken, Potatoes and Green Beans, Honey mustard carrots, Fresh garlic bread

Day Two

Breakfast: Cereals and Toast, Fruit salad, Served with tea, coffee and a full array of condiments
Morning Tea: Tea and Coffee, fruit cake and an assortment of biscuits
Lunch: Quiche, Potato salad, Green salad, Mixed Beans, Baguette.

Menu is a guide and may change due to seasonal produce, you must inform staff of any dietary requirements during the check-in stage or earlier if possible.

NOTE: If you have a special treat, chocolates or crisps etc that you like while on the tour, please bring with you as there are no shops around the islands.
Hammer Sailing Check-in Arrangements
Guests are asked to confirm their travel 48 hours before departure by calling 07 4946 7533.
Guests travelling on Hammer should check-in at Explore Whitsundays, 4 Airlie Esplanade Airlie Beach 4802 the day before travel  .  The office hours are 7:30am to 7pm.  At check-in you will be provided with a boarding pass.  To speed up the check-in process, a web check-in can be done to collect predeparture information. To do the web check-in guests will require their booking reference number.

What to Pack
Please pack in a soft small bag.  We suggest: swimmers, beach towel, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, hat, jacket or sweater, sandals/joggers/thongs for island walk, toiletries, and any prescribed medicines.  There are no shops around the islands, so please pick up important items or treats before arriving at the marina.

Drinks
Hammer is a BYO vessel, this means you are able to bring your own alcohol onto the tour (no glass please). Drinking water from tap is included throughout your tour, you are welcome to bringa bottle and fill it as much as you like, however for your convienience soft drinks and bottled water are available for purchase on board. The crew will keep a tab and you can pay at the end of your tour. 

Inexperienced Swimmers/Snorkellers
Don't worry, we supply swimming noodles and additional floatation as required.  We will do a risk assessment on every guest before entering the water.  While in the water the small tender will be relatively close by.  We also have staff on look-out duty.  In the Whitsundays, the reefs we visit are off the beaches, so it is pretty easy to make way to the beach.

Large Luggage
Large bags cannot be taken on-board.  Storage services are available in Airlie Beach for a fee, generally around $5.

Parking
Guests can park vehicles at Abell Point Marina.  It is a Pay and Display car park with the fee of $8.00 per day, payable by coins or credit card.
